I spent this afternoon in the company of 1000+ protesters at the entrance to the Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Rancho Mirage, California. Inside, the Koch brothers were meeting with other billionaires and supposedly House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain.
It was a great day for a protest. Many great progressives spoke including Jim Hightower, Rick Jacobs of the Courage Campaign, Common Cause President and former Illinois Congressman Bob Edgar, as well as former marine core veteran, Joel Francis.
We were even heckled by a rollerblading Andrew Breitbart. I personally believe that his presence signifies the threat the plutocrats feel from the civil unrest brewing in this country.
